LO4 - Post-Production - Sound report (P6,M3)

 


In this image i used this website to convert my music from YouTube to an MP3 sound so i can put it on final cut pro. I used this website as it was free and easy to use. I chose a sound that i like and was most suitable for my ident and converted it to an MP3 file. I then saved the file to my desktop and imported it onto final cut pro to add to my ident. 


In this image, i downloaded the music to my iTunes and can drag the files from here to final cut pro to my ident when editing. An example of this is when i downloaded the BBC One news music to use for my ident. If some of my sounds were not on my iTunes it would be on my desktop and i can drag it from there onto final cut pro. 

In this image i have added my sounds onto final cut pro to my dent and have aligned it where the sounds need to go. This is to complete my ident and make it suitable and not have the sounds scattered everywhere. I would lower or increase the sound depending on how i wanted it. I would also move the sounds under the scene, in its appropriate place.

Legal, moral and ethical issues (P2/M2)

The legal issues that you may face is through work, by this I mean images for example you can get an image from google for your work and the issues that can be faced from this is not asking permission from the person who made the image for you to be able to put on your work. You can get sued or fined for using someone else's work without permission. You could possibly go to jail if they take you to court and you're not able to pay up they can take products from you.  The ethical issues are something morally right or wrong actions or sayings. Such as, being racist, body shaming, harassment. For example, body shaming if a model was to do a photoshoot for a brand as an advert and they are being body shamed on there it is morally wrong as everyone can now see the advert and also see the body shaming that is going on.  Ident 1:  What went well:  Ident ideas were good the overall idea of the ident  filming logo idea Improvements: Music voice over. align the letters of BBC one properly. mute the background sound effects  cut scenes as filming is shaky it makes the ident look bad.
