LO4 - Post-Production - Process report (P6,M3)

 

In this image I am uploading my idents to my desktop by clicking the save button, I had to create a master file for it to be saved for the quality to be better. I saved the file to my desktop so I know where to find it later on.  

I then give the file a title and save it so I can upload it to YouTube. When this small tab shows up, I gave the file a suitable name so I can find it in my documents later on for it to be uploaded on YouTube.  





I then went to YouTube and clicked upload video. I pressed the plus button and clicked upload video where another tab comes up to allow me to select the files I want to upload. 



I then get to select my files and choose the correct file I want to upload, in this case my first draft. It is helpful I have saved it onto my desktop as "ident 1 draft" to make it easier to identify what file I need to upload. 







I then upload the video on YouTube and here we can see the title and thumbnails being loaded in there are 4 steps when uploading videos, copyright check, made for kids or not suitable for kids, thumbnails and then you upload it.








We can also see when uploading it I have selected it I not for kids for age restriction purposes.

 One convention of a TV ident is to have the channels name displayed within the ident. The ident I have chosen which is BBC One showcases their channels name in each ident at the end with a circle formed at the end of each ident which they use to display their channel name as the circle contributes to the coloration of the letter 'O' in BBC One. By having the channels name displayed it allows the audience to go to the channel to watch the show they heard on the ident as they may have been intrigued to watch it.  Ident 1:  What went well:  Ident ideas were good the overall idea of the ident  filming logo idea Improvements: Music voice over. align the letters of BBC one properly. mute the background sound effects  cut scenes as filming is shaky it makes the ident look bad.
