LO4 - Analysis and application of findings Part 1 (P6,M3)

 Ident 1:

What went well:

  • Ident ideas were good
  • the overall idea of the ident
  • filming
  • logo idea

Improvements:
  • Music
  • voice over.
  • align the letters of BBC one properly.
  • mute the background
  • sound effects
  • cut scenes as filming is shaky it makes the ident look bad.

Ident 2:

What went well:

  • the idea of the ident
  • the video and storyboard align
  • quality of the ident
Improvements:
  • filming
  • put the logo of BBC 1 on the egg for an ending
  • add a voiceover
  • add a different image of a show to better the ident
  • music and sound effects
  • can hear the background noise needs to be muted
Things I am considering to improve in my idents:

Ident 1:
  • The background sound to be muted
  • sound effects
  • music
  • voiceover
  • align the letters of the logo
  • cutting the scenes slightly where the filming is shaky.

Ident 2:
  • Muting the background noise
  • music
  • sound effects
  • voiceover
  • changing the ending show image to have a better correlation with the ident idea
  • cut the scenes where the filming is slightly bad to make the ident better

Reasons why i am not considering some improvements:

I do not have time to refilm as the deadline is near and will not be able to refilm. I will just have to put up with the slightly shaky filming and cut out parts of the scenes where it is shaky to better the ident. In the first ident the feedback given was the filming was shaky as well as the second ident due to the deadline being near unfortunately i will not have time to refilm and get the props for the ident again so I will have to edit some of the scenes to cut out the bad filming. Other than the filming the other improvements will be taken into consideration.

LO4 - Post-Production - Process report (P6,M3)

In this image I am uploading my idents to my desktop by clicking the save button, I had to create a master file for it to be saved for the quality to be better. I saved the file to my desktop so I know where to find it later on.   I then give the file a title and save it so I can upload it to YouTube. When this small tab shows up, I gave the file a suitable name so I can find it in my documents later on for it to be uploaded on YouTube.   I   then went to YouTube and clicked upload video. I pressed the plus button and clicked upload video where another tab comes up to allow me to select the files I want to upload.  I then get to select my files and choose the correct file I want to upload, in this case my first draft. It is helpful I have saved it onto my desktop as "ident 1 draft" to make it easier to identify what file I need to upload.  I then upload the video on YouTube and here we can see the title and thumbnails being loaded in there are 4 steps whe...

Legal, moral and ethical issues (P2/M2)

The legal issues that you may face is through work, by this I mean images for example you can get an image from google for your work and the issues that can be faced from this is not asking permission from the person who made the image for you to be able to put on your work. You can get sued or fined for using someone else's work without permission. You could possibly go to jail if they take you to court and you're not able to pay up they can take products from you.  The ethical issues are something morally right or wrong actions or sayings. Such as, being racist, body shaming, harassment. For example, body shaming if a model was to do a photoshoot for a brand as an advert and they are being body shamed on there it is morally wrong as everyone can now see the advert and also see the body shaming that is going on. This will give a bad representation of their brand and business allowing their target audience and others to stop buying products from them as they have this bad repre...
